How-to-start-your-own-website-and-earn-money
Hai all, i am tappy and I thought of writing about this as I have gone through similar phases with lots of confusions and questions, hope this will help u. This chapter will be explaining about simplest steps which will guide you to set up your own website.
Step1 – What website? this is the question to be answered first, depends on your taste, interest and your active domain you can have your own combinations- like entertainment, information’s, training, analysis, reviews , technology, coaching, literature ,film, sports and what not, – Remember , the originality and quality of your content is the most important thing.
Step2 – Domain registration, this is the step 2, where you are giving a global identity to your web by giving a name to that which is unique and cannot be copied by anyone. Lots of websites are offering domain registration service for example name.com, namecheap.com, godaddy.com etc. The registration amount starts from 3 $ per year and auction options are available from certain domains. According to the nature of the website and country of choice you can select domains from a wide variety of domains. Refer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_top-level_domains for fine details of domains. The most popular domains are .com, .org,.net,.edu,.info etc…You can also opt country based domains like .in for India, .us for United States, .ae for Arab emirates and .uk for United Kingdom etc.  The average price of .com is around 9$ per year which is renewable every year. The Indian ( .in ) is available for an average price of 3-4 $ per year.
Step 3- After getting your domain name you have to find the hosting provider to host the data of your web site. The basic hosting plans starts from 15$ per annum and the amount varies according to the space and bandwidth requirements. The beginners are recommended to take a basic plan, and may be upgraded to a higher plan according to your requirements. The most popular hosting providers are hostigator.com, ihost.com, justhost.com, bluehost.com, hostingraja.com etc Refer http://www.prchecker.info/top-10-web-hosting.php review on hosting, The good news is that some providers are giving free hosting spaces also but a paid domain will have its advantages always.
Step 4 – Once you have the hosting plan you need to link the domain and the hosting provider, this can be done by logging into domain control panel by editing the name servers (this is required only if your domain server is different from hosting server) the server names provided by the hosting providers to be added in the name server list of domain server. Once you done with this you can log in to the control panel (cpanel) of your hosting provider to add and edit the contents of your web.  The log in credentials to access the control panels will be provided by the hosting provider.
Step5- Hosting data and web layout- as a beginner I strongly recommend you to use the free services of word press or joomla for the database support and web layout …apart from the mentioned 2 a lot many other webs are also providing this service, linking the hosting and these services starts with installing the concerned software in the hosting control panel.  Most of the control panels of hosting servers are supporting quick and easy installations of applications like word press and joomla. If not you can request your hosting provider to provide you with the support.  Once you have installed any of these, for example word press, now you can customise the web theme and layout according to your taste and with the help of templates provided by them. The advantages of connecting with these services are the content of your web will be easily listed with search engines which will help you to popularise your web.
Step 6- so now you have a customised web and u can utilise the help of pluggins provided them to improve the aesthetics and functioning of your web, you can install all these features by directly logging into your web through the admin control panel provided by them ( for e.g. word press).
Step 7 –monetising your website – the most popular way of monetising your web is Google ad sense, for obtaining ad sense pub id you have to apply with your web credentials to ad sense. It’s highly recommended to maintain the quality of your web, both aesthetical and functional dimensions before applying ad sense. Once you received the pub id from ad sense you can incorporate that with your websites with supporting pluggins. If you find it difficult to get ad sense you can use ad sense like services for eg. affiliate marketing, chitika, adversal etc. Refer http://stream-seo.com/best-google-adsense-alternatives/ for details
Step 8 – Now you’re in- play fair, post genuine contents, popularise it and be patient – you will be successful.
